Pavillon Vieux Chantre 2020

 A fun delicious wine with enough concentration and complexity to be taken seriously so it's not just fun but actually also good. Dark color and explosive dark fruit and perfume bouquet. Rich and concentrated with Gorgeous very ripe fruit. Well structured and balanced. Slightly new world but still somewhat old world too. Rich sweet dark fruits with fragrance accents provided by the 15% Cabernet Franc. 85% Merlot for the rest. Long finish with some good tannins and acidity. Drinks beautifully now but I get the feeling between the fruit, the balance, the acidity and the well integrated tannins that this actually has the ability to age. Drink now to 2030 possibly longer.
