Traversa Barbaresco Starderi 21: impressive and awesome example of terroir influence. Whereas the Canova was surprisingly approachable, the Starderi was classically tight and tannic, and it was fascinating to watch it open up over nearly a week, gaining every day in layers of flavors and complexity. Tremendous potential. Drink 2033-2049, likely longer. 95-96
