Traversa Barbaresco Canova 21:a quick decant revealed a surprisingly approachable and beautiful wine with mesmerizing bright ruby red color and a nose of dried flowers, mushrooms, red currants, pomegranate, clove and nutmeg. The palate reflects the nose, with a silky mouthfeel, juicy red fruit, savory minerality, high acidity and velvety tannins with an earthy long finish. I could drink a magnum of this by myself in one setting. Pure joy. Can drink now but best 2029-2040, likely longer. 94
