Terra Gratia Marciano Estates Red 2021

 The name Terra Gratia, meaning “land of gratitude” in Latin, is a constant reminder of how special this property is and how grateful we are that these soils produce exceptional wines. The grapes for this wine are hand-picked at night to keep the fruit chilled, optically sorted, fermented, barrel-aged, and bottled, all in accordance with the strictest Kosher standards.

In the glass, the wine has the deep color of shiny Chinese ink with light purple on the rim. The note begins with an explosion of fruit, starting with fresh raspberries, white strawberries, fresh red currant, and subtle hints of rose petals and flint. The palate has a soft and silky entrance coated by granular tannins that are supported by a balanced acidity that leads to a soft and juicy finish. You are left with flavors of vanilla ice cream, white pepper, fresh blackberries, and cassis buds.
