Tench Vineyards Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is deep ruby with an aromatic bouquet of ripe dark cherry, plum, dried black fig, black licorice, cedar, clove, cardamom, and Graham Cracker. The palate offers plush flavors of plum, blackberry, and hints of cedar and dried tobacco leaf. Finely dispersed, slightly chalky tannins add texture, while the wine’s velvet-like feel creates a beautifully balanced finish.

Biodynamic and Organic. This is a prime part of Oakville – immediate neighbors are Screaming Eagle, Gargiulo Vineyards and Harbison.

This 61-acre property, west of Silverado Trail in Oakville, has been owned by the Tench family since John and Joan Tench purchased it in 1965. Their youngest son, Brian, and his wife, Adair, took over ownership,

continuing to sell grapes. The first Tench Vineyard designate was produced by Niebaum-Coppola in the 1980s. Today, their daughter Margaret Tench and her husband Rem Reigersman oversee the vineyard,

founding Tench Vineyards with their first vintage in 2017. A state-of-the-art winery and caves, built in 2016/2017, serve their own wines and a select group of premium producers.
