Shirah Chardonnay 2023

2023’s perfect growing season allowed us to pick our Chardonnay at lower brix while still achieving full physiological ripeness. Whole cluster pressed juice was barrel fermented and aged sur lie for 7 months and underwent full malolactic fermentation. We bottled the wine unfiltered so as to not strip it of any character. Santa Maria Valley’s classic orchard fruit notes meld perfectly with subtle toasty oak. The resulting wine is classic Chardonnay; rich, and with dazzling acidity, low in alcohol and tremendous depth. Enjoy Tunnel Chardonnay with a wide variety of cuisine and drink on it’s own.
