The grapes were harvested by hand, cooled and processed. The must cools soaked for three days. The fermentation was short and controlled. After gentle pressing, the wine was aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Intense red color. Earthy and spiced aroma with hints of black plum, pepper and tobacco. Medium bodied, velvety round tannins, red fruit flavors and spice and a good long finish.

100% Syrah

Syrah is one of the most successful grape varietals in Kishor Vineyards: year after year it produces wines that are markedly monocepage, while portraying a complexity we call ‘local’ and different, representing the terroir side of the wine. Syrah 2018 has an aromatic nose, bursting in the glass upon pouring. Like many of 2018 wines, this wine is characterized by ripe fruit and a very rounded, smooth and pleasant mouth. It develops a tannic finish and has excellent acidity. Syrah lovers will find here a characteristic Syrah, suited for a variety of spiced cheese, grilled red meat and local Israeli cuisine.
