Herzog Baroque Cabernet Franc North Coast 2017

This Cabernet Franc was grown in the North Coast AVA. Carefully balanced, the wine offers a pronounced perfume with notes of raspberry and black currant. A smooth and velvety texture leaves hints of toffee in a long and satisfying finish. It opens with moderately high acidity and moderately low tannin, black cherry, plum, dark chocolate, and truffle on the palate and finishes with with flavors of sour cherry, smoky tomato, dried oregano and sweet pepper.
