Domaine Roses Camille 2006

Limited! Perfect Storage History. This small production wine is carefully crafted from a premier, old vines parcel in the Pomerol region of Bordeaux. Winemaker Christophe Bardeau, who formerly was an associate winemaker at Pomerol's legendary l'Eglise Clinet, made the production from this vintage entirely Kosher. The wine, and the winery, have received high marks from Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Daniel Rogov. The wine is full bodied with soft, caressing tannins and a hint of spicy oak. On the nose and palate blackcurrants, raspberries and tobacco, those supported nicely by notes of mocha. Generous and long, with an enchanting note of black licorice on the finish. Drink now through 2028. A true legend.
