Zaphnath crafted from hand-selected grapes sourced from the finest vineyard blocks on the winery’s estate in Yitzhar.

Zaphnath honors a time when Joseph, once a slave, rose to power in Egypt and was granted the title of Zaphnath- Paaneah. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, this blend of 85% Malbec and 15% Petit Verdot offers rich aromatic and velvety flavors with a long pleasant finish that will age gracefully in the coming years.

Ben Porat is an estate winery located in the heights of the Samarian Hills, nestled in the ancient land of the Tribe of Joseph. Its symbol, the onyx, represents the beauty and strength of Joseph, as written in Deuteronomy 33: “His horns are like those of an onyx.”
