Avi Feldstein Roussanne 2023

This varietal Roussanne comes from two vineyards in the eastern Upper Galilee, at different altitudes and ripeness levels, combining varietal character with volume. The winery aims for a self-contained varietal expression. Most white wines at the winery are made for aging, as Israeli whites are known to age well. The wine fermented in French Burgundy barrels and clay amphorae, aged on its lees for 12 months. It has a core of flintiness, with notes of summer fruits, a fresh body, honeysuckle, and toasted brioche on the finish. It will continue to age well for many years.
