Avi Feldstein Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Avi Feldstein Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
From Gabriel Geller;
Israeli wine journalist Sagi Cooper got carried away calling this wine “the best Israeli cabsav ever” but it is the best Israeli cabsav I’ve had in the last 2-3 years, medium + body, gentle French oak notes, approachable but structured for medium term aging (maybe 10 years), well controlled ripeness, acidity is on point, elegant, needs food. Not your typical Israeli cab. Drink now-2030, maybe longer.
Full flavored, deep aromas, with fresh, minerally backbone. Refreshes & shows excellent drinkability. The wine was macerated on the skins of specially selected fruit for 65 days, as part of a desire to preserve a full aromatic palate in a medium-light body with high drinkability. As a result the aromas are more subtle and final expression more elegant
