Medium bodied with great length and mouthfeel, this wine has the body and texture you only read about in books on Burgundy. Another wine not to be missed, from a spectacular vintage.

 Note From KosherWineMusings 2021 Jean-Philippe Marchand Volnay, Sous Luret, Volnay Score: 91 (QPR: EVEN) The nose of this wine is far more constrained and controlled with lovely mushrooms, dark cherry, smoked meat, violet, lavender, coffee bean, earth, and mineral. The mouth on this medium-bodiedwineis truly layered, rich, and smoky, with dark Kirche cherry, currant, dirt, bright scream acidity, with a nice tannin structure, followed by more floralnotes, and tart fruit. The finish is long, tart, green, ripe, and smoky, with tart cherry, nice tannin, and floralnoteslingering long, with mushroom and loam lingering as well. Nice! Drink by 2030."
