This hillside vineyard is notable for its incredibly consistent production of pure and opulent fruit. Volcanic soil and excellent drainage produce small berries with thick skins, securing ideal ripeness and pronounced intensity. Edcora is a rare gem in Atlas Peak.

Its elevation at 1450 ft. allows for more sunlight and a protracted growing season that sees the berries developed into their ideal form. Another Cru-level vineyard in Napa Valley that creates exceptional wines.

PADIS VINEYARD

OAK KNOLL DISTRICT OF NAPA VALLEY

The Padis vineyard was selected for several key reasons. The vineyard is located on a hillside with a steep slope, consisting of old vines that yield berries with a high concentration. The fruit also tends to handle oak aging very well.

The Herzog family also has a longstanding relationship with the Padis family, making the cultivation of fruit—and great attention to detail it demands—a collaborative and patient process for what is one of the last vineyards harvested each year.

PRITCHARD HILL

Pritchard Hill boasts what many consider to be the most prestigious and unique terroir in all of Napa. The vineyard rests on a steep incline which results in some of the most concentrated grapes in the region, lending itself to Pritchard Hill’s world renown.

It’s combination of unique soils and older vines create a richness and consistency in the berries that make them some of the most sought after in the winemaking industry. The elevation keeps the vines above the fog, bathing the grapes in more sunlight than most locations in Napa.
